📏 How to Measure Your Window
To ensure you order the correct size, please follow these steps before purchasing:
Measure the Width: Find the widest horizontal point of your window.
Measure the Height: Find the tallest vertical point of your window.
Add a Buffer: Select a decal size that is at least 2 inches larger than your measurements in both directions. This "bleed" area ensures you have enough vinyl to trim for a seamless fit.
✂️ The Trimming Guide
Because every vehicle's window curvature is different, "Universal Fit" means you are the final tailor.
Apply the decal so it overlaps the rubber window seals/edges slightly.
Using a sharp hobby blade (like an X-Acto), gently run the tip along the gap between the glass and the window frame.
Use light pressure—the goal is to cut the vinyl, not the window seal!
Peel away the excess "frame" of vinyl for a custom, factory-installed look.
💧 Installation: The "Wet Method" (Recommended)
For large decals, we highly recommend the Wet Method to avoid bubbles and wrinkles.
Clean: Clean the glass thoroughly with rubbing alcohol. Do not use Windex.
Prep Solution: Mix 2–3 drops of dish soap in a spray bottle with 16oz of water.
Spray: Lightly mist the window and the sticky side of the decal. This temporarily "deactivates" the adhesive so you can slide the decal into position.
Squeegee: Once positioned, use a squeegee to push the water out from the center toward the edges.
Dry: Wait 30–60 minutes for the water to evaporate before carefully peeling back the transfer tape.
